Upinion has been in touch with crisis-affected communities in Lebanon for many years. This brief offers an in-depth look at the current displacement situation in Lebanon, highlighting the ongoing instability and multiple displacements many families are experiencing, as well as the growing challenges they face in meeting basic needs and accessing services. With over 187,000 displaced individuals and widespread damage across the country, understanding the conditions and needs of displaced populations in Lebanon is critical for humanitarian actors, policymakers, and local communities.
The conversation was shared with Upinion’s Syrian and Lebanese communities in Lebanon on the 12th of November, and is still ongoing.
Upinion will continue to listen to and amplify the voices of our communities in Lebanon, providing valuable insights directly from affected communities and offering a real-time snapshot of the situation and the key issues on the ground. Our qualitative data, gathered from a diverse group of participants, reveals emerging trends that can inform future policy and humanitarian initiatives.
